Acoplin Grooved UL/FM Rigid Coupling

Split coupling, also listed as a split clamp, figure TG1GK, in two bolted halves seated on the pipe groove. The designed gap between pipe ends takes up thermal movement and small misalignments of the line. Available in 8 sizes, from 1 1/4" to 8". Working pressure of 20.7 to 34.5 bar (300 to 500 psi), depending on size. Part of the UL listed grooved piping system used in fire protection networks. The joint is mechanical, made by a split coupling over the pipe groove, with no welding and no threading, so the line can be assembled, inspected and rearranged in place.
